Abundance and population trends of wolf in Croatia in 2010

The data compiled and processed for 2010 show that the wolf population ranges from 198 to 261.5 individuals (rounded off to 200–260), with an average of 230 individuals distributed in some sixty packs. Of these, 39% of packs inhabit border areas. The largest number of individuals is estimated in the territories of Split-Dalmatia and Lika-Senj Counties.
