The young male W14-Noah, from this year's litter and weighing 18 kg, was captured in the Ričica Valley, near the Suho hunting lodge (Smrekova Draga hunting ground at Gumance) on 28 August 2006. He was fitted with a satellite tracking collar, with an expected use period of one year, and he was released at the capture site. The pack to which this young wolf belonged was called the Suho pack. Other members of the pack were in the same valley on that day, one was observed immediately after Noah's return to the wild, and that same evening, they were all heard howling in the Ričica Valley. The last data from Noah's collar were obtained on 19 April 2007.
