Brochure: Large Carnivores in Croatia

At the end of 2011, the State Institute for Nature Protection issued a new brochure intended for the general public, entitled Large Carnivores in Croatia. The 18-page brochure briefly covers the following topics: what we should know about large carnivores in Croatia, general information on the wolf, lynx and bear (appearance, habitat, way of life, diet, reproduction and communication), distribution and abundance of large carnivores in Croatia, cohabitation with humans, causes of threat for large carnivores, regulations on large carnivores, why conservation of large carnivores is important, how to behave in the habitat of large carnivores, did you know?, and intervention teams.
