November/December 2012 – Meeting on implementation of the Snow Tracks monitoring campaign for large carnivores in 2012/2013

The last Snow Tracks campaign was held in winter 2009/2010. This year, the State Institute for Nature Protection, in cooperation with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zagreb, is again organising lectures and meetings in order to stimulate and continue with data collection.

The meeting was attended by members of the Committee for the Monitoring of Large Carnivore Populations in the Republic of Croatia, experts from the Ministry of Culture, members of the intervention teams for wolf and lynx, representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management, Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development – Hunting Directorate, Ministry of Culture – Nature Protection Directorate, State Institute for Nature Protection, Croatian Hunting Federation and county hunting associations, Croatian Agricultural Agents, Zagreb Zoo and non-governmental organisations.
