Eva visited Bosnia and Hezegovina

On Friday 18 March 2005, Josip Kusak visited Runović village in order to have more information about Eva. Few minutes after 8 a.m. he received the first signal from Eva, near the place named Krivodol, on the edge of Imotsko polje. After that, he knew that Eva was alive and active. Still, it took him 4 hours of searching to have a precise data on Eva's whereabouts and to download corresponding data from GPS collar. At that time, Eva was 20 km from Krivodol, in the hills above the village Drinovci, in Bosnia and Herzegovina . After processing of data covering last three weeks of Eva's movement, it was clear that Eva spent most of her time in the hills above Runovići, but during nights she usually went to Imotsko polje. However, on one occasion, she did not returned to Runovići, but went to Drinovci, that is about 8 km of air-route from her known territory. This is not a long distance in wolfs' world. Namely, the previous research showed that the territory size of wolf pack in Dalmatia is 150 km 2 .
