Lectures on wolves for primary and secondary school students

Within the project, lectures on wolves are being held for primary and secondary school students. The purpose of these lectures is education of the children and youth about the role and importance of wolves in nature.
Lectures are held by Josip Kusak, D.Sc., of the Faculty of Veterinary Science in Zagreb, organised in the form of 45-minute multimedia presentations, and delivered in schools in Gorski kotar, Lika and Dalmatia, within the wolf’s area of occupancy.
Due to really high interest, several lectures were held outside this area as well. The students got deeply absorbed in the lectures, while teachers have shown interest for involvement in the wolf conservation activities.

Since November 2003, seventeen lectures for primary and secondary school students have been held.
