Three tornjak* puppies donated to livestock breeders of Unešić

On Friday, 30 Septermber, 3 tornjak puppies were donated to livestock breeders in the municipality of Unešić (Čvrljevo and Planjane donje). The results of dog donations in this municipality are best seen in the absence of damage with livestock breeders who received tornjak puppies at the beginning of the Project implementation and who managed to raise and use them in proper way. Requests and interest in the puppies are growing.

On that occasion in Unešić the regional co-ordinator for Dalmatia, Nikica Skroza, expressed his satisfaction with the response and the manner in which these tornjak dogs were kept and used in that region. Sonja Desnica, Assistant to the Head of the Project, explained the Contract on the Right of Using Tornjak dogs to the livestock breeders present and handed them the same for signature, while the fauna adviser, Jasna Jeremić, gave a lecture on nutrition and on the way of keeping and using tornjak dogs.
