A young wolf killed in a highway collision

In the morning of 16 November 2005 a wolf was killed by a vehicle close to the Vršek tunnel and the Zalesina viaduct at the eastern entry to Rijeka. The body was collected by Tomislav Šporer and fetched by Josip Kusak on 18 November 2005, transported to Zagreb and dissected on the same day. It was a young male aged 1.8 and weighing 30 kg.
