The Second Suho Pack Cub Collared

Another this year's pup, a 7-months-old male weighing the incredible 27 kg, was caught on 30 October in the Kiršina draga in Gorski kotar.

The cub named Grga after the main hero of the picture book "The Story of Grga the Wolf-cub" written by Sanja Pilić was a brother of Noah from the same litter and belonged to the Suho pack. Grga was fitted with a GPS-GSM-VHF collar intended to operate for two full years, and was captured and collared in the presence of game-keepers from the Suho hunting lodge and a few local hunters - wolf lovers who gave him the name.

The second collared wolf of the same pack will make it easier to monitor the Suho pack in the forthcoming period and provide better and more comprehensive scientific insights.
