Lecture "WHO'S AFRAID OF THE BIG, BAD WOLF?"

On Monday, 20 February 2006, a lecture entitled "Who's Afraid of the Big, Bad Wolf?" was held in the premises of the Profil Megastore bookshop in Bogovićeva 7, Zagreb.
The lecture was given by Ms. Ana Štrbenac, B.Sc.Eng., the head of the project on "Conservation and Management of Wolves in Croatia" and by Dr. Josip Kusak, a researcher at the School of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zagreb. Despite a bad weather the event was attended even more than expected, which proves that the topic has always been "hot" and interesting. After the lecture all the participants got actively involved in the discussion by asking numerous questions. As the lecture was also followed live on the web site www.fauna.hr, answers were given to questions put by a dozen of site visitors. The attendants viewed the educational and informative posters on the wolf and received the publications. The general conclusion was that more events of that kind would be welcome.
